AI Commerce Engineer

About the Role

Shopify is seeking an AI Commerce Engineer to build AI-powered features for merchants. You will develop product recommendation engines, conversational commerce experiences, and AI-assisted store management tools used by millions of merchants worldwide.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering with ML focus
• Experience with recommendation systems or personalization
• Strong skills in Python and Ruby or TypeScript
• Experience with LLM integration in products
• Understanding of e-commerce domains

• Experience with Shopify's platform
