On-Device AI Engineer

About the Role

Samsung Research is looking for an On-Device AI Engineer to develop efficient ML models for Galaxy devices. You will optimize language and vision models for mobile processors, develop on-device AI features, and work on model compression techniques.

Requirements

• 3+ years of ML engineering with mobile/edge focus
• Experience with model compression (pruning, quantization, distillation)
• Proficiency in Python, C++, and Android NDK
• Knowledge of mobile ML frameworks (TFLite, ONNX Runtime Mobile)
• Understanding of mobile hardware constraints

Nice to Have

• Experience with Samsung's Neural Processing Unit (NPU)
• Background in on-device NLP or vision
• Experience with federated learning
• Knowledge of ARM architecture optimization
