ML Engineer — New Grad

About the Role

OpenAI is looking for exceptional new graduates to join as ML Engineers. You will work alongside leading researchers and engineers on some of the most challenging problems in AI, contributing to model training, evaluation, and deployment at scale.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science, ML, or related field (2025/2026 graduate)
• Strong fundamentals in machine learning and mathematics
• Proficiency in Python and at least one ML framework
• Demonstrated passion for AI through projects, research, or contributions
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Research publications or preprints
• Significant open-source contributions
• Competitive programming experience
• Relevant industry internship experience
