About the Role

Uber is seeking an ML Engineer to work on dynamic pricing and marketplace optimization. You will build models that balance supply and demand in real-time across millions of rides and deliveries, optimizing for rider experience, driver earnings, and marketplace health.

Requirements

4+ years of ML engineering experience
Experience with marketplace or pricing models
Strong skills in Python and production ML frameworks
Understanding of causal inference and experimentation
Experience with real-time prediction systems

Nice to Have

Experience with ride-sharing or delivery platforms
Background in operations research or optimization
Experience with reinforcement learning for sequential decisions
Knowledge of geospatial data and models
