About the Role

Uber is seeking an ML Engineer to work on dynamic pricing and marketplace optimization. You will build models that balance supply and demand in real-time across millions of rides and deliveries, optimizing for rider experience, driver earnings, and marketplace health.

Requirements

• 4+ years of ML engineering experience
• Experience with marketplace or pricing models
• Strong skills in Python and production ML frameworks
• Understanding of causal inference and experimentation
• Experience with real-time prediction systems

Nice to Have

• Experience with ride-sharing or delivery platforms
• Background in operations research or optimization
• Experience with reinforcement learning for sequential decisions
• Knowledge of geospatial data and models
