ML Engineer — Autonomous Driving

About the Role

Tesla is hiring an ML Engineer for the Autopilot/FSD team. You will develop and optimize neural networks for perception, planning, and prediction that power Tesla's autonomous driving system deployed across millions of vehicles.

Requirements

• 4+ years in computer vision or autonomous systems
• Strong skills in Python, C++, and PyTorch
• Experience with 3D object detection and tracking
• Understanding of sensor fusion and calibration
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or Robotics

Nice to Have

• Experience with BEV (Bird's Eye View) perception
• Background in motion planning or trajectory prediction
• Experience with real-time embedded systems
• Familiarity with autonomous vehicle simulation
