About the Role

Spotify is seeking an ML Engineer to improve music and podcast recommendations for 600+ million users. You will develop recommendation models, personalization algorithms, and content understanding systems that help users discover their next favorite artist or podcast.

Requirements

3+ years of ML engineering experience
Experience with recommendation systems
Strong skills in Python, Scala, or Java
Experience with large-scale data processing (Spark, Beam)
Understanding of A/B testing and causal inference

Nice to Have

Experience with audio or music understanding
Background in collaborative filtering or content-based methods
Experience with two-tower or retrieval models
Passion for music discovery
