About the Role

Grammarly is hiring an NLP Research Scientist to advance AI-powered writing assistance. You will research and develop models for grammar correction, style improvement, tone detection, and generative writing suggestions used by 30+ million users daily.

Requirements

PhD in NLP, Computational Linguistics, or ML
Strong publication record in NLP venues (ACL, EMNLP, NAACL)
Expertise in text generation and language understanding
Proficiency in Python and PyTorch
Experience with production ML systems

Nice to Have

Experience with grammatical error correction
Background in stylistics or discourse analysis
Experience with multilingual NLP
Familiarity with writing pedagogy
