About the Role

Google DeepMind seeks a Research Scientist to push the frontiers of foundation models. You will design and conduct experiments on next-generation architectures, contribute to Gemini model development, and publish impactful research at top venues.

Requirements

PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field
Strong publication record at top-tier ML venues
Deep expertise in transformer architectures and language modeling
Proficiency in JAX/TensorFlow and Python
Experience with large-scale experimentation

Nice to Have

Experience with multimodal models
Background in reinforcement learning
Experience leading research projects or mentoring
Contributions to widely-used ML frameworks
