About the Role

DeepL is hiring a Machine Translation Engineer to improve the world's most accurate translation AI. You will work on neural machine translation models, develop data pipelines for multilingual training, and implement quality evaluation systems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of NLP or MT engineering experience
• Strong skills in Python and deep learning frameworks
• Experience with sequence-to-sequence models
• Understanding of multilingual NLP and tokenization
• MS in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, or related

Nice to Have

• Experience with document-level translation
• Multilingual language skills (3+ languages)
• Background in computational linguistics
• Experience with quality estimation models
