About the Role

Bloomberg is hiring an NLP Data Scientist to build AI systems for financial text analysis. You will develop models for sentiment analysis, entity extraction, and document summarization using financial news, filings, and market data.

Requirements

• 3+ years of NLP or data science experience
• Strong skills in Python and ML frameworks
• Experience with text classification and extraction
• Understanding of financial markets and terminology
• MS or PhD in NLP, CS, or quantitative field

Nice to Have

• Experience with financial NLP (FinBERT, BloombergGPT)
• Background in quantitative finance
• Experience with named entity recognition for finance
• Knowledge of SEC filings and financial data formats
