Data Scientist — LLM Applications

About the Role

Databricks is seeking a Data Scientist to help customers build and evaluate LLM applications on the Lakehouse platform. You will work on RAG implementations, fine-tuning workflows, and develop best practices for enterprise LLM deployment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of data science experience
• Experience with LLMs, fine-tuning, and prompt engineering
• Strong skills in Python, SQL, and PySpark
• Familiarity with ML experiment tracking and evaluation
• Customer-facing communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with Databricks and MLflow
• Background in building RAG systems
• Familiarity with vector databases
• Experience with model evaluation frameworks
