About the Role

Meta is hiring an AI Ethics Researcher to evaluate the societal impact of AI systems across Meta's products. You will develop fairness metrics, conduct bias audits, and create responsible AI guidelines for teams building AI features for billions of users.

Requirements

• 3+ years in AI ethics, fairness, or responsible AI
• Experience with bias measurement and mitigation
• Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills
• Understanding of ML systems and their societal impact
• Graduate degree in relevant field

Nice to Have

• Experience with content moderation AI
• Background in social science or philosophy
• Published work in FAccT, AIES, or related venues
• Experience with participatory design methods
