About the Role

Anthropic is looking for an AI Policy Researcher to analyze and shape AI governance frameworks. You will research regulatory approaches, develop policy recommendations, and engage with policymakers to promote responsible AI development.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in tech policy, AI governance, or related field
  • Strong understanding of AI capabilities and risks
  • Excellent research and analytical writing skills
  • Experience engaging with government or regulatory bodies
  • Graduate degree in public policy, law, or related field

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI-specific legislation (EU AI Act, etc.)
  • Background in national security or international relations
  • Technical understanding of ML systems
  • Published policy papers or reports
